At Swinburne University of Technology, we have enjoyed a highly successful collaboration with Gradability over the past 18 months, particularly in our Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programs. Post-WIL feedback from our students has been overwhelmingly positive, with many securing ongoing employment with their internship hosts. We highly recommend Gradability for their Career Development and Work Integrated Learning programs and look forward to continuing our successful collaboration.

Improve Employability Outcomes: Improving employability outcomes for students has been identified as one of the key aims of WIL. In particular assisting students in the transition from university to work and improving productivity outputs for employers and the wider economy.
Strengthen teaching and learning: Support your students in developing non-technical professional skills that are generic and transferable, including professional communication and presentation skills, personal branding, networking skills and team work.
Enable application of theory into practice environments: Offering your students the opportunity to apply their knowledge in a real-world setting and prepare for transition into the workforce.
University reputation management: WIL programs can enhance a university’s reputation, which can be critical in attracting future students, and can positively influence student satisfaction with their degree.
Plug-and-play platform: Rapidly launch and supercharge your employability offerings.
Scalable Solution: Start where you are and grow your WIL offering as needed, our solution scales with your requirements.
Market Leaders: We have an enviable track record of high satisfaction and outcomes for both students and employers.

Initially, we sought Gradability’s expertise to expand our internship opportunities for international students, drawn by their strong reputation and proven track record. Since then, our partnership has grown, and in 2024, we’ve also begun collaborating on final-year Engineering research projects.
Gradability has significantly contributed to our efforts in two key areas: sourcing internships and projects through their extensive industry network, and helping prepare our students to apply for internships.
For example, we needed support in connecting with new industry partners within the technical STEM fields, and Gradability delivered outstanding results. Approximately 100 international students have completed internships at over 30 companies as a direct outcome of this partnership.
Gradability has also provided professional, responsive support to both our team and our students, and we particularly appreciate the consistent, formal feedback about the process and student experiences.
One of the standout reasons we chose Gradability was their personalised approach – they conducted one-on-one consultations with each student to prepare them for the internship application process, which has proven crucial for international students.
Post-WIL feedback from our students has been overwhelmingly positive, with many securing ongoing employment with their internship hosts. We highly recommend Gradability for their Career Development and Work Integrated Learning programs and look forward to continuing our successful collaboration.
